Evenfall (In the Company of Shadows, #1)

Evenfall (In the Company of Shadows, #1) - Santino Hassell, Ais I´m exhausted, physically and mentally tired, I´m going to need a eyeballs replacement, this book is so good and so long that I can´t believe that I finished it, well not really because there are three more on the way.

I was very hesitant to read this book because of the dystopian theme, I´m stuck mostly in contemporanean readings, but because of the great reviews of this one I gave it a try, and really I´m so happy I did, the environment surrounding the book is quite realistic and it didn´t take me aback, if you are fond of military/crime/terrorism readings this is your book.

The MCs are awesome, the plot is well resolved, the chemistry between Boyd and Sin is fantastic and the second characters like Ryan and Carhart are very good too.

The scenes are very descriptive, every moment is written meticulously, and you can really visualize it perfectly but this fact made that in some moments it take ages to finish some scenes, what make the book unnecesary long, and the use of repeated descriptions, and the endless Boyd´s inner dialogue/struggle doesn´t help either.

I would loved a little more interaction between Boyd and Sin.

Boyd SinSin

I have the sensation that Sin´s father is under lo mas Chingon, I,ll see ;)
